Our Mission

At the Institute for Interdisciplinary Data Science Research (I2DSR), our mission is to drive transformative change through pioneering research and innovation in data science. We are committed to promoting diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) in computing by addressing technological inequality and marginalization, particularly among underrepresented groups such as Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latinx, Immigrants and refugees, LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, Persons with disabilities, and more. Our work is guided by the belief that data-driven insights can lead to profound social impact, and we strive to empower individuals and communities through our research. By conducting cutting-edge research on real-world problems, we aim to advance the frontiers of knowledge and foster a more inclusive and equitable society. Through collaboration, education, and advocacy, we are dedicated to building a future where everyone has equal access to the benefits of data science and technology.
